SGS Inspection Available
To ensure full transparency and buyer confidence, we welcome and can arrange
third-party inspection through SGS or another internationally
recognized inspection body such as Cotecna, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek prior to shipment.
Inspection Process:
- Pre-Shipment Inspection: Verification of grade conformity, moisture content, defect count, bean size/uniformity, and cup quality against the agreed specifications.
- Quantity Verification: Verification of bag count, net/gross weight, and total container weight against the commercial invoice and packing list.
- Sampling & Cupping: Random sampling from the lot for physical and sensory evaluation to confirm consistency with the approved pre-shipment sample.
- Container Loading Supervision: Supervision of stuffing, container condition, loading, and sealing before departure.
How It Works:
- Inspection is included in the purchase contract or LC terms at the buyer's request.
- We coordinate the inspection with the buyer's nominated inspection agency.
- Inspection is completed before the container is sealed.
- The applicable inspection certificate/report is shared with the buyer alongside the shipping documents.
Inspection Cost: Buyer-pays, seller-pays, or shared arrangements can be agreed upon at the contract stage.
Independent verification of quality and quantity before shipment gives buyers greater transparency, reduces transaction risk, and supports smooth LC/documentary transactions.
